Collecting art used to be the hobby of the super rich. Having a portrait commissioned was something only the aristocracy could do.
Not any more.
Now, you, too can own a genuine painting, created in the traditional way by a real, aspiring artist. You, too, can commission a family portrait, or a reproduction of your favorite Leonardo Da Vinci painting for your living room wall. You, too, can build a collection of art that will be treasured for years and generations to come. You might be a serious art lover, or someone who simply appreciates the finer things in life and wishes to add a little flair to home or office. The Company |
Established in 2002 by two guys with little more than a dream and lots of enthusiasm, Ocean’s Bridge has gone on to become one of the world’s leading oil painting studios, with thousands (4,000+ at last count!) of satisfied customers. We’re particularly proud that we’ve achieved so much without compromising our principles, and continue to believe in – and practice – fair trade, providing the best quality paintings and service, and giving back to the community (see THIS link for more information on our support of numerous charities worldwide). Now, with a large team of talented, experienced artists, great studios, and a wonderful support staff, we’re pretty excited about what the next five years will bring!

Ocean’s Bridge is a pretty diverse group of people (we’ve Brits, Americans, Canadians, Germans and Chinese nationals on the team here!) who share the same goal – bringing genuine oil paintings, created by real artists, into the homes of art lovers everywhere. |

Meet the team… |

Dan Groves
is an accomplished artist and in charge of quality control and customer liaison. To put it simply, he is the link between you and the artist and will be your contact point for most painting related queries once work has begun. So, if you’ve any special requests for your painting, or if you would like adjustments made, the ever courteous Dan is the person you’ll be dealing with. Dan, born in England and a graduate from the De Montfort University, Lincoln Art Institute, continues to enjoy painting in his free time as well as lending a helping creative hand in our studios! |

Olivia "Libby" Fudge
the friendly and professional Libby is our key customer service representative. Libby is based in our Kentucky facility. |

James Skidmore
is one of the co-founders and helps handle customer inquiries as well as looking after the wholesale side of the business. Originally from the UK James now spends most of his time based in our studios, working alongside the artists and staff and generally making sure everything goes smoothly! |

Barrett Reynolds
direct from Canada, is our new customer service guy. If you are considering shopping with us, or just need help finding or choosing a painting, Barrett’s who you’ll be dealing with (Dan only takes over once your painting is actually being worked on by the artist). His other responsibilities include some quality control and wholesale project management. |

Cory Devine
is the other founder of Ocean’s Bridge and maintains the website and back-end systems, as well as handling some of our larger hotel and interior design projects. A native of Canada, Cory’s technical expertise prevents everything grinding to a halt as well as ensuring the website continues to evolve and improve. |

Wayne Jones
another UK native, is our creative director and heads our product development team. His artistic background combined and strong technical skills make him a real asset to Ocean’s Bridge. |

Moritz Sisenop
a young German programmer, is not just our chief engineer – he also oversees the German market for us and is helping us launch our site in more languages! |

Dell Kingdom
born and raised in China , is our business and China operations manager. (Soon to be Dr. Kingdom, we might add…congratulations on your upcoming PhD, Dell, from one of the world’s leading universities no less!) |

Billy Joe Fudge
is not only the lucky husband of Libby Fudge (above) but also our chief framer and head of logistics in our Kentucky office and warehouse. A true gentleman in addition to being a great asset to the team, Billy Joe works wonders with wholesale and retail framing and stretching projects. |

Henri - Chief of Security
Henri adopted us some years ago and has become a fixture at the studios and a favorite of our team here. His qualities as an “alarm dog” more than pay his rent and board! |
