Both paintings arrived today, and as usual, I am very pleased. I shared them with the post mistress and my neighbor, they were both equally impressed. The canvases are on the carpet, with the frames placed over them, awaiting stretching. Remarkable craftsmanship on both paintings, we are all very impressed with the attention to detail on the tartan plaid, as well as the rest of pipers costume! My ancestors would be bursting their buttons.
