The painting, Portrait of Cecilia Gallerani, arrived last week in excellent condition. It is a beautiful reproduction, and my mother is very happy with it. It was a present for her 78th birthday, and it now hangs on sturdy hooks above her bed.

The seven canvases arrived today. and it was like Christmas ! The paintings of the children are beautiful and deeply moving. It is amazing to me what a transformation takes place when you lay the gilded frames over the unstreatched canvas. The magic is there, it is the combination of the two that is surreal ! Empty frames come alive with the brilliant colors of the subjects . The subjects are elevated and enriched by the gold frames, it is of another time and place. But that is the look I am trying to achieve. With your magnificent paintings, we are doing a superb job ! Thank you very much .
"Old Faithful" , and "the Mariposa Grove" will compliment "Niagara Falls" on the second floor. "Barbi Rimsikoff" will grace the spot over the stairwell, and the "Sea Captain " will bring authenticity to the Empire bedroom. "The Prince of Wales" along with "Prince Alfred and Princess Helena" will grace the walls of the children's bedrooms. I feel so privileged to be in the presence of these quality paintings.
